Social Gatherings

Wednesday 26 May at 2pm, St Mary’s Hall.

We asked members to please enrol on U-MAS so we knew how many were coming.
Unfortunately many members enrolled (nearly 40), however they didn’t turn up. This was a catered event and as numbers were in the low 20’s there were lots of individually plated-up afternoon tea left over.
The other point is that our speakers give up their time to talk to us. It’s embarrassing to have our speakers talk to less than 25 members, when we have over 500 registered members.

Please take responsibility and if you enrol in any activity and then find you can’t attend, please contact the office, or email us and ask to be removed, as soon as you know.

GROW (our Speakers in May) is a well-respected community based organisation helping thousands of Australians with their recovery from mental ill-health. The Grow Program is based on a 12-step program of personal growth and mutual help and support. GROW are looking to open up a group here in Bendigo and we will pass on any other information as we receive it.

We throw open our doors each month and hold a Social Gathering just for you! We welcome you and hope you make the most of these Social Gatherings to hear about a wide range of topics and meet up with other members and Committee Members too.
Afternoon tea – coffee and bickies are usually available.
Thank you for being a part of U3A Bendigo.

Is there any feedback you’d like to share with us, ref our Monthly Social Gathering? Tell us what you think might be more successful? What would like to see more of and less of? We’re listening and want to make your visit, what you want it to be. Thank you.
