U3A stands for University of the Third Age. A U3A is a university in the original sense of the word: a community of people devoted to learning. We are a volunteer co-operative of older people who share many educational, creative and leisure activities. Although it is called a "university", being in your Third Age is the only qualification needed to participate in our U3A.
Courses & Activities
We offer a range of courses and activities.
Courses and activities are of varying lengths and are held in venues throughout our area. Prospective tutors for new classes are always welcome, too. Learn more about our classes, or find out how to enrol.
Memberships
Join or renew your membership
Membership entitles you to enrol in as many courses as you like*. We offer full or associate memberships, as well as options allowing members to take courses at other U3A's. Find out how to join (*subject to any enrolment period restrictions)
Notice of Annual General Meeting 2026
The Annual General Meeting of U3A Bendigo Inc. will be held on
Wednesday, 22 April 2026 at St Mary’s Hall, corner of Church and Bank Streets, Kangaroo Flat.
At 2pm.
The meeting will include entertainment and afternoon tea will be provided by your Committee of Management
- Please note that because we have close to 600 members, we need a quorum of at least 60 for this AGM to proceed.
- Please register your attendance by enrolling in Social Gatherings for April.
